Cathay Bank to Host Charity Golf Tournament

The Cathay Bank 46th annual Charity Golf Tournament is set to take place on Tuesday, May 2, at the Industry Hills Golf Club, Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry.
This signature Southern California charity event brings together donors and golf enthusiasts for a good cause: to support the local community.
The fundraising tournament will feature an 18-hole course, a four-player scramble format open to players of all skill levels. Participants can register as singles or foursome teams. The event includes lunch, dinner, award ceremony and more. Funds raised from this year will go toward the following nonprofit organizations:
• Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center
• Cathay Bank Foundation
• Friends of the Chinatown Library
• Herald Family Center Counseling Ministry
• International Institute of Los Angeles
• Irvine Chinese School
• No Limits for deaf children and families
• Pacific Clinics
• Taiwanese American Heritage Week
“We are thrilled to be hosting this event to support a great cause,” said Anthony Tang, chairman of the Cathay Bank Golf Tournament Committee and vice chairman of Cathay General Bancorp and Cathay Bank. “Golf is a beloved sport, and we are proud to be bringing the community together for a day of fun and fundraising.”
The Cathay Bank Annual Charity Golf Tournament began in 1977. Over the years, it has raised millions to support local nonprofits benefiting our communities.
