Local Squads Set to Start Seasons

The St. Francis High School varsity boys’ volleyball team recently visited South Pasadena for its season opener; the match ended after the Pasadena Outlook’s press deadline and will be included in the next issue.
The Golden Knights will host Windward High of Los Angeles today at 5 p.m. before competing in the Redondo Tournament this weekend.

LA SALLE

The Lancers defeated Village Christian High of Sun Valley, 2-0, in a Crescenta Valley High Tournament match on Saturday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Pasadena Outlook.
La Salle (1-0 overall) will visit Los Altos High in Hacienda Heights for a nonleague match today at 4:30 p.m. before hosting Mark Keppel High of Alhambra on Monday, Feb. 27.

FLINTRIDGE PREP

The Wolves visited Brentwood School in Los Angeles for their season opener yesterday; the match ended after the Pasadena Outlook’s press deadline.
Flintridge Prep will host Glendale for a nonleague matchup on Friday, Feb. 24, at 4:30 p.m. before hosting San Marino on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

POLY

The Panthers recently visited Ontario Christian High for their season opener; the match ended after the Pasadena Outlook’s press deadline. Poly will next compete in the Webb Tournament in Claremont this weekend before hosting Monrovia on Tuesday, March 14.

MARANATHA

The Minutemen will open the regular season by hosting Glendale Adventist for a nonleague game on Wednesday, March 1,
