“Oaktree has been an integral part of empowerment for our families by funding and supporting our community outreach efforts and helping us prepare more than 7,000 students for success in the classroom with back-to-school necessities,” Allen said. “Oaktree Capital employees have also stepped up and volunteered countless hours to help provide backpacks full of supplies as well as write letters of encouragement to our kids. Their ongoing leadership and commitment have helped many of our kids show up on the first day of school with the supplies to succeed and helped amplify the impact we are having on our community, together.”
