The historic St. Andrew Church in Old Pasadena recently hosted its 27th annual Bach to Broadway event, which featured artists from the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and members of the L.A. Master Chorale and the L.A. Opera.
Proceeds from the concert are used exclusively for projects, which maintain and enhance this landmark church. The parish was founded in 1886 and is one of oldest Catholic parishes in the Los Angeles area.
“We are so grateful to our parishioners, neighbors and friends for their generous support of this annual event, which supports the restoration of our magnificent St. Andrew Church, an architectural treasure in Old Pasadena,” said Jerilyn Castillo McAniff, chair of Concert Committee and member of the Restoration Committee.
The event also honored many members for their years of service to St. Andrew Church.
