The vintage teardrop trailer, which serves delicious lattes, was open for families as they mingled on the first day of school at Pasadena Waldorf.
Many took the opportunity to catch up with friends after drop-off and then head over to be a part of a special Pasadena Waldorf tradition, the Parent Coffee annual event.
Additionally, a Rose Ceremony tradition kicked off the school year, with each 1st grade student receiving a rose from a 12th-grader to welcome and wishes them well in the new academic year. In turn, at the conclusion of the school year, these graduating seniors receive a rose from the 1st-graders to mark their special achievement.
The Rose Ceremony encourages all in attendance to reflect on how the students will grow and develop through the years as part of the Pasadena Waldorf family.
