At the start of every school year, a team of Westridge students organize a festive ceremony where each new student, teacher and staff member is announced as either a Greek or a Roman.
As the names are called, each person is welcomed by a cheering throng of students dressed in either yellow (Romans) or blue (Greeks). The two designations are used throughout the year for intramural competitions.
