Saint Mark’s School recently held its “Off to the Races” spring fundraiser at the Altadena Town & Country Club and Altadena Golf Course.
The day began with a round of golf for golfers, while others enjoyed a friendly tennis and pickleball competition.
The derby-themed event included a silent auction, cocktails, dinner and dancing.
During the paddle-raise portion of the evening, parents and friends set a school record, raising more than $60,000 to support the Grow and Innovate Fund, which provides teachers with professional growth opportunities, including tuition reimbursement, training and support for implementing innovative ideas in the classroom.
The school community was thrilled to be together to support Saint Mark’s after two years of not having an in-person benefit.
