Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy recently hosted its 89th annual commencement.
The processional was led by Edward Elgar, while Sister Carolyn McCormack, president, headed the invocation.
The school’s chamber singers led the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the national anthem and “Why We Sing” by Greg Gilpin.
Salutatorian Peyton DeJardin, valedictorian Isabella Fraley and commencement speaker Jenna Gulick, Class of 2013, took the stage to address the graduating class and attendees prior to Sister Celeste Marie Botello, principal, and McCormack presented the diplomas and awards.
