This fall, the 67 members of Westridge’s Class of 2022 will head to 44 different colleges and universities in the United States and Ireland.
According to Westridge Director of College Counseling Lynn O’Grady, the widespread availability of virtual tours and online information sessions since the beginning of the pandemic has resulted in students applying to a broader range of schools.
“This is an extraordinary class — they are kind, generous and supportive of one another. And they are strong individuals who know themselves and raise their voices — the kind of students colleges are looking for,” said Westridge Head of School Elizabeth J. McGregor.
“The class of 2022 has had to draw on their inner strength over the last two years in a way that allowed them to truly know themselves and their strengths, and the results of this are seen in their strong college acceptances and matriculations that very much reflect who they each are,” McGregor added.
