St. Francis Eliminated in Quarterfinals

The St. Francis High School varsity boys’ volleyball team’s CIF-SS playoff run ended after being eliminated by host Thousand Oaks, 25-18, 26-24, 25-21, in a Division II quarterfinal match.
SFHS junior Travis Brown amassed 19 kills, one ace and 10 digs, while sophomore Titus Rodz collected nine kills and six digs. Junior Blake Welsh posted five kills, junior Gabe Metcalf tallied one kill, five digs and 27 assists, senior Robert Nardoni produced one kill, two blocks and 12 digs, junior Trevor Shackleton registered 16 digs, senior Ben Ferguson had one block and one dig, and senior Mason Hasbrouck finished with one block.
The Golden Knights concluded their season third in the Mission League with a 4-2 record (22-7-1 overall).
