Institute for Educational Advancement hosted its annual Awards Dinner and Celebration recently at the University Club Pasadena. More than 125 guests were on hand to honor three local individuals who have been champions of gifted students: Jason and Sandy Roberts of the PUSD Math Academy, and Tony Travouillon of Thirty Meter Telescope and Caltech. The IEA’s mission is to ensure that each gifted child’s specific needs are met so that they can reach their full intellectual and personal potential.
