Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley recently hosted its Fall Benefit, themed “Bans Off Our Bodies,” at a private residence in Altadena.
The three-house event kicked off with a message from U.S. Rep. Judy Chu before passing the microphone to the new PPSGV board chair Annie Brose. She introduced the next speaker, President/CEO Sheri Bonner, followed by a call to action from one of PPSGV’s board of directors, Archana Sahgal.
Following the Lineage Dance, guests were free to mingle, eat and drink in the backyard of a luxurious Altadena residence until the event concluded around 5 p.m.
Planned Parenthood, which was founded in 1916, strives to ensure all people have access to the resources needed to make informed decisions about the health and well-being of their own bodies. For more information, visit plannedparenthood.org.
