PUSD Observes Genocide Awareness

First published in the May 5 print issue of the Pasadena Outlook.

April is observed as Genocide Awareness Month because some of the worst atrocities in history occurred in the month of April, including the Armenian genocide, the Holocaust, the Cambodian genocide and the Rwanda genocide. PUSD Superintendent Brian McDonald joined students from Blair School and Webster Elementary, home to PUSD’s Armenian world language programs, at a commemoration event at Pasadena Memorial Park.
