The Angelus League recently released its all-league team for softball following the completion of the 2023 spring season. Seniors Meghan Garrity and Marie Milton were named co-MVPs while junior Meaghan Coyle was the most valuable pitcher recipient. Senior Cameron Bender, senior Ellie McCarthy and sophomore Ava Nawrocki were first-team selections while senior Charlotte Taylor, senior Carly Crossland and junior Megan Milton received second-team honors. Marie Milton posted team-high marks in batting average (.567), onbase percentage (.620), OPS (1.470) and RBIs (35) in 71 plate appearances. She added 28 runs, 10 doubles, two triples and a home run. Garrity scored a team-high 36 runs with a .446 batting average and a 1.208 OPS. She added 13 RBIs, nine doubles and a pair of triples with a .529 on-base percentage.

Coyle was the ace of FSHA’s pitching staff, finishing with a 14-2 record and a terrific 0.95 ERA. She racked up 101 strikeouts with 11 complete games and six shutouts over 88 innings while limiting opponents to a .185 batting average. Nawrocki collected team-high marks in plate appearances (77), at-bats (70), hits (36), doubles (12), triples (six) and slugging percentage (.857) while adding a .514 batting average, 30 runs and 27 RBIs. Bender produced a .419 batting average and a 1.155 OPS with 23 RBIs, 15 runs, 11 doubles and a triple while McCarthy finished with a .400 batting average and a 1.136 OPS with 19 RBIs, six doubles, a triple and a home run. Megan Milton registered a .386 batting average and a 1.065 OPS with 26 runs, 15 RBIs, five doubles and a pair of triples. Taylor had a .404 batting average and a .959 OPS with 23 runs and 13 RBIs while Crossland recorded 11 runs, 10 RBIs, nine hits a double and a triple. The Tologs finished the season as undefeated Angelus League champions with an 8-0 record (17-4 overall).
