La Salle College Preparatory’s 23rd annual “Shining Spotlight” Crystal Ball gala took place at the Langham Huntington on May 12. This year’s event, chaired by Heather Young, included a silent auction, live auction, dinner and performances by the Performing Arts and Media department. About 350 guests donned black-tie attire for an evening highlighting the school’s outstanding students, extracurricular programs and educators. President Perry Martin greeted guests to the event, with Principal Jamal Adams, educators, alumni and community members also in attendance.
