The Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy varsity softball team beat visiting Harvard- Westlake of Studio City, 6-1, in a Sunshine League game last Wednesday. The Tologs won their 10th consecutive game while securing a league title with a perfect 8-0 record (17-3 overall). In 20 regular season games, FSHA outscored its opponents 225- 45. Junior Megan Milton went 3-for-3 with a double and a run, sophomore Ava Nawrocki went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and junior Meaghan Coyle allowed one run on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts in a complete game performance. Senior captain Marie Milton registered a double, an RBI and a run while senior Meghan Garrity tallied a double, two runs and a steal. Senior Carly Crossland recorded a hit, an RBI and a run, senior Cassie Huston finished with a hit and a run, and senior captain Charlotte Taylor produced an RBI. Flintridge Sacred Heart collected a convincing 10-0 nonleague victory at Rio Hondo Prep in Arcadia last Tuesday as Coyle, who went 2-for-3 at the plate, racked up eight strikeouts over five shutout innings with three hits and one walk. Marie Milton went 2-for-3 with two doubles, four RBIs and a run while Garrity went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Nawrocki went 2-for-3 with two RBIs while Megan Milton went 2-for-3 with two runs. Sophomore Gianna Candelora recorded a double, three RBIs and a run while senior Cameron Bender tallied a hit and a run. Freshman Ena Ramsey scored twice while Taylor walked and scored once. The Tologs routed visiting Notre Dame Academy of Los Angeles, 31-8, in a league game last Monday. Marie Milton went 3-for-3 with a home run, four runs and two RBIs, Garrity went 4-for-4 with a triple, a double, five runs, three RBIs and a steal, and Candelora went 3-for-3 with a triple, five RBIs and a run. Freshman Juliette Smith went 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs, Ramsey went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, three runs and a steal, and junior Abigail Blea went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs. Bender went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and three runs while Huston went 2-for-2 with two runs. Nawrocki registered a triple, three RBIs and three runs while Coyle produced a triple, a run and an RBI. Senior Ellie Mc- Carthy recorded an RBI and a run, Megan Milton walked twice and scored a pair of runs, and Taylor walked, scored once and stole a base. FSHA recently crushed visiting Immac- ulate Heart High of Los Angeles, 10-1, in a league game as Coyle, who had a hit and two walks, pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts. The Tologs recently blanked host Mary- mount High in Los Angeles, 19-0, in a league game. Flintridge Sacred Heart previously picked up a 12-0 league victory over visiting Immac- ulate Heart as Coyle racked up eight strike- outs over five scoreless innings with one hit and one walk. The Tologs will open the CIF-Southern Section Division IV playoffs today by hosting Oxnard (12-11) in the first round. If victorious, FSHA would advance to the second round and meet either Schurr High of Montebello (21-3) or Woodrow Wilson High of Long Beach (12-15).

FLINTRIDGE PREP

The Wolves ended the regular season with an 11-1 victory at Polytechnic last Wednesday as Elise Fong, who recorded a double, two runs, an RBI and a walk, pitched a complete game, allowing one unearned run on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts. Sarah Bougdanos went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs while Mary Sinclair went2-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Madison Lin went 2-for-2 with an RBI, a run and a steal, Eliza Gunter went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a steal, and Asta Uziel and Si- enna Liston each tallied a double, a run and a steal. Emma Carmack scored once and stole a base while Presley Nevadomsky walked once and stole a base. Flintridge Prep was shut out by visiting Providence High of Burbank, 10-0, in a Prep League game last Friday. Fong finished with three strikeouts over 5.2 innings in the circle, Uziel had a base hit, and Sinclair and Lin each walked once. The Wolves previously picked up a 14-3 league victory over visiting Polytechnic as Fong, who went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run, had six strikeouts over five innings with eight hits, three runs (two earned) and no walks. Liston went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and an RBI while Carmack went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs. Sinclair went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run, Bougdanos and Lin each went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, and Uziel recorded a double, an RBI, a run and a steal. Nevadomsky tallied a hit, an RBI, a run, a walk and a steal while Gunter produced a hit and a run. Flintridge Prep, which finished third in league with an 8-4 record (11-7 overall), will open the CIF-Southern Section Division VII playoffs today by hosting Hueneme High of Oxnard (9-13). If victorious, the Wolves would advance to the second round and meet either Mesa Grande High of Calimesa (10-2) or Los Amigos of Fountain Valley (8-8-1) on Tuesday, May 9.

The Minutemen ended the regular season with a 12-2 victory over visiting Montebello on April 21 as senior Julia Pevsner, who had a hit and a run, allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings. Junior Isabela Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs, two runs and a steal while freshman Anaya Quinonez went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI. Junior Bella Aleman went 4-for-4 with a double, two runs and a steal while senior Liana Domingo went 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a steal. Senior Jillian Geib and freshman Gigi Aleman each recorded a hit, an RBI and a run while freshman Ella Klop produced a hit, a run and a steal. Junior Vanessa Hernandez scored once, freshman Sevana Bartholomew tallied an RBI, and senior Rebecca Wolyn, freshman Ellie Thompson and freshman Anna Bowers each walked once. Maranatha recently lost an Olympic League game to visiting Heritage Christian High of Northridge, 12-6, as Pevsner went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and a run. Bella Aleman registered a double and two runs, Klop finished with a hit, two RBIs, a run and a steal, and Guerrero tallied a double, a walk and a steal. Wolyn walked twice, scored a pair of runs and stole two bases while Gigi Aleman and Hernandez each stole a base. The Minutemen previously edged Heritage Christian, 18-17, but lost to Valley Christian High of Cerritos, 15-5. Individual statistics were not reported to the Pasadena Outlook. Maranatha, which finished tied for fourth in league with a 1-7 record (16-9 overall), will open the CIF-Southern Section Division VII playoffs at Desert Christian High in Lancaster (6-9) today. If victorious, the Minutemen would advance to the second round and meet either Loma Linda Academy (9-4) or Mountain View High of El Monte (7-12) on Tuesday, May 9.

MAYFIELD
The Cubs recently defeated host We- stridge School, 13-3, in a Prep League game. Sophomore Jaz Johnson went 4-for-4 with three runs, three steals and an RBI while sophomore Chloe Cobian went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double, two RBIs and a run. Freshman Bridgette Carroll went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI, sophomore Ken- nedy Taylor went 2-for-5 with a triple, a double and three RBIs, and sophomore Penelope Pegram went 2-for-4 with a run. Freshman Mackenzie Taylor, who had an RBI and a run, had four strikeouts over six innings in the circle, junior Madilyn Domingo recorded a hit, two runs and an RBI, and sophomore Peyton Pegram, freshman Makayla Gatmaitan and freshman Keegan Roggero each scored once. Mayfield previously collected a pair of victories over Palos Verdes Chadwick, 7-3, and John Muir High, 14-3, but suffered a pair of losses to Rio Hondo Prep of Arcadia by scores of 12-0 and 12-6. Individual statistics were not reported to the Pasadena Outlook. The Cubs finished the regular season fourth in league with a 7-5 record (14-9 overall) and recently visited Riverside Prep in Oro Grande for a CIF-Southern Section wildcard game; the result was unavailable by the Outlook’s press deadline. If victorious, Mayfield would advance to a first-round matchup today at Notre Dame High in Riverside (8-9).

POLYTECHNIC

The Panthers lost their regular-season finale to visiting Flintridge Prep, 11-1, in a Prep League
game last Wednesday. Freshman Eila Chan went 2-for-3 with a triple while senior Kiara Engstrom went 2-for-3. Sophomore Piper Hart recorded a hit and a walk, sophomore Lyla Pak and freshman Ellery Engstrom each tallied a hit, and freshman Olivia Asper De Tyson scored once. Polytechnic defeated visiting Palos Verdes Chadwick, 11-1, in a league game last Tuesday as Ellery Engstrom, who had two RBIs and a run at the plate, pitched a com- plete game with one strikeout, five hits, three walks and one earned run. Kiara Engstrom registered a hit, two RBIs and two runs, Asper De Tyson tallied a hit and two RBIs, and freshman Allison Nieves had a base hit. Chan produced three walks and three runs while freshman Carthan Connelly recorded three walks, two runs and two steals. Hart walked twice, scored a pair of runs and stole two bases while Pak scored once. The Panthers recently defeated visiting Westridge School in a league game, 15-10. Pak scored once, walked and stole a base while Kiara Engstrom and Nieves each scored once. Poly previously lost a league game at Flintridge Prep, 14-3. Hart and Ellery Engstrom each went 2-for-3 with a run and a steal, Chan went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run, and senior Kiara Engstrom went 2-for-3. The Panthers finished the campaign tied for fifth in league with a 3-9 record (5-11 overall).

The Tigers lost their regular-season finale at Palos Verdes Chadwick, 3-1, in a Prep League game last Thursday as sophomore Marysa Ybarra, who went 2-for-4 with a double and a steal, had two strikeouts over six innings. Sophomore Reed Dietrick finished with a hit while sophomore Eliza Lin-Stevens scored once and stole a pair of bases. Senior Soleil Ybarra recorded four walks and a stolen base while junior Audrey Anguiano, junior Jade Ilas and freshman Zoe Taylor walked once. Westridge lost at Providence High in Bur- bank, 14-2, in a league game last Tuesday. Marysa Ybarra went 2-for-2 with a run, Anguiano walked once and scored a run, and Ilas walked twice. The Tigers lost to visiting Providence, 16-2, in a league game last Monday. The Tigers finished the campaign seventh in league with an 0-12 record (2-15 overall).

LA SALLE
The Lancers concluded the regular season with consecutive losses to St. Monica High of Santa Monica, 16-1, Paraclete High of Lancaster, 12-0, and a pair against Saint Joseph High of Lakewood by scores of 16-4 and 10-0. La Salle previously picked up a pair of Camino Real League wins in a doubleheader at Serra High in Gardena by scores of 13-1 and 7-1. Individual statistics were not reported to the Pasadena Outlook. The Lancers finished the campaign fourth in league with a 2-10 record (2-13 overall).
