The Pasadena-Altadena Community Empowerment Fund brought the community together for its “Back to the Motherland with Hat-ti-tude” benefit event in support of PACEF’s scholarships at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel on April 18.
About 240 guests dressed to impress, with most attendees wearing hats for the occasion.
In the ballroom, PACEF honored this year’s scholarship recipients. Noel Johnson-Montoya and Saadiq Moore of John Muir High School, and Hailee Ball of Marshall Fundamental.
