The Huntington’s President Karen Lawrence welcomed and thanked members of the Society of Fellows and attendees for their generous support at the Huntington Ball on Saturday.
Unusual Southern California weather prompted event organizers to pivot from the original gala location in the Australian Garden to a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. The use of the Rose Hills Foundation Garden Court as well as the surrounding buildings, Haaga Hall and Rothenberg Hall, enabled the festivities to be held in a creative manner for the benefit of future projects at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens.
The event’s platinum sponsors were Lisa and Tim Sloan (the event chairs), Avery and Andy Barth, and Anne Rothenberg and family. Gold sponsors were LeeAnn and Ron Havner; silver sponsors were Cercano Management, Dr. Mario and Therese Molina, Wendy Munger and Lenny Gumpart, and Wells Fargo.
