High Point Academy celebrated its annual Spring Auction and Parents’ Night Out benefitting the school’s art program at Pasadena’s Westin Hotel on Saturday, April 30.
In memory of Sandi Brune, an art and music teacher of more than 30 years, the evening raised funds for renovations to the art studio.
About 200 faculty, staff, parents and guests attended the fundraiser held outside on the multi-level courtyard. The event included a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and a live auction and tribute to Brune with words from Kris Haines, High Point Academy’s Interim Head of School, and Zack Davis, an art teacher at the school. The renovated art studio will be dedicated to Brune.
