Pacific Clinics will honor longtime supporter and mental health advocate Ellen Leyva at its Champions of Mental Health Summer Gala on Saturday, June 23. The fundraising event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Pacific Clinics is one of the largest nonprofit mental health providers in Southern California, serving more than 22,000 individuals annually at more than 60 locations in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. “Pacific Clinics is thrilled to award Ms. Leyva with the inaugural Champions of Mental Health Award in recognition of her tireless efforts as a mental health advocate,” said Jim Balla, the organization’s president and CEO. “She truly is a Champion of Mental Health, supporting the work of Pacific Clinics’ behavioral healthcare programs for individuals and families who need us most.”
