Nearly 300 guests turned out recently to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pasadena Heritage in the original Exhibition Hall at the Civic Auditorium. The festive occasion had a warm and friendly party atmosphere, from the cocktail hour with specialty drinks and a selective Silent Auction, through dinner, presentations and entertainment from the stage. Event co-chairs Claire Bogaard and Tom Seifert, both members of the board of directors, and board chair Lucinda Over served as emcees for the evening.
Congratulations and comments were offered by Congresswoman Judy Chu, Assemblyman Chris Holden’s field deputy Phluente Riddle, state Sen. Anthony Portantino and Mayor Terry Tornek.
Although the goal of the event for Pasadena Heritage was to draw together its supporters, members and friends to celebrate this milestone year, the event also raised significant funds for the organization’s operating budget.
