A VIP reception was held recently at the Pasadena Playhouse to celebrate the opening of “Shout Sister Shout!” The musical is about the legendary gospel, rock and blues singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe. It is also the final production of Artistic Director Sheldon Epps. The show runs through Sunday, Aug. 20.
