Pasadena Christian School recently celebrated 70 years at its gala “A Platinum Affair” at the University Club of Pasadena. Families past and present, alumni, faculty and community members enjoyed a 1940s-themed gala honoring the school’s founding in 1946.
The evening was hosted by ABC-7 newscaster Phillip Palmer and comedian-auctioneer Robert G. Lee.
Major sponsors of the event included John and Kathy Prosser, the Glassford-Saldana Family, Michael and Marna Sharpe, the Scheidler Family, Tea Rose Garden, J.D. Gilmore & Co, and Outlook Newspapers. The evening raised $120,000 for the enrichment of their programs and the revitalization of the school’s athletic courts.
