The annual Greater Pasadena Young Life fundraising banquet was a rousing success as almost 275 guests were served an exciting program full of laughter, life and touching stories from Young Life staff, students and leaders. The impact of Young Life was palpable, and the influence of leaders in the lives of kids was demonstrated thoroughly. Dave Avramovich, the area director, shared about the hope for continued development of Young Life in the surrounding communities. In order to do so, they hope to raise even more money to continue their work impacting more than 2,000 kids weekly around the Pasadena area. Since 2007, Young Life has grown from two to 15 schools, from 10 to 74 volunteer leaders and from 200 to 2,000 students reached.
