Walden School recently celebrated the graduation of the class of 2019. Before receiving their diplomas, each of the 29 graduates highlighted his or her Walden experience in personal speeches and wowed the audience with musical performances. With heartfelt remarks from Head of School Terra Toscano, Walden alum Casey Shatraw and 6th-grade teachers Ryan Graber and Danica Hamilton, the class was sent off to the next step in their educational journey. Families enjoyed a slideshow chronicling the students’ early childhood and elementary years. The graduates are matriculating to 13 area independent and public middle schools, including Barnhart School, California School of the Arts, Chandler School, Flintridge Preparatory School, Gooden School, High Point Academy, Mayfield Junior School, Oakwood School, Polytechnic School, the Waverly School, Westmark School and Westridge School.
