Doheny Eye Institute Toasts Donors at Reception

Doheny Eye Institute celebrated its generous donors and supporters last week at its annual Donor Appreciation Reception held at the Flying A Garage. While enjoying food and cocktails from Buttermilk House Catering, guests were able to view a private car collection. Dr. SriniVas Sadda, president and chief scientific officer, recognized and thanked the many donors and supporters in attendance. Sadda explained how philanthropic support has been essential to Doheny’s advances and accomplishments in ophthalmology. Founded in 1947, Doheny Eye Institute has been at the forefront of vision science and continues to make significant advances in vision research. Proudly affiliated with UCLA Stein Eye Institute, Doheny will soon call Pasadena home when its new vision science campus opens in late 2020.
