Pasadena Heritage, which has worked successfully to protect the city’s historic resources and foster local preservation policy, recently used its major annual fundraiser to praise a woman who has been vital to the cause.
The organization’s “9,136 Days” celebration attracted about 150 people to Castle Green to honor Executive Director Sue Mossman, who has served Pasadena Heritage for 40 years. The event featured a silent auction — items included Kenton Nelson’s newest painting of the Colorado Street Bridge, of which Pasadena Heritage has helped to safeguard —and food from Little Lily’s Kitchen. Craftsman Brewing and Pasadena Stark Distillery poured beverages and jazz pianist Jeff Colella, Parson’s Nose, A Noise Within and magician Mike Caveney entertained guests.
