The Pasadena-Altadena Chapter of The Links Inc. hosted their annual holiday affair, “Diamonds and Pearls: Winter Wonderland,” at the Imperial Palace in Pasadena. More than 300 guests enjoyed the sold-out affair. The highlight of the afternoon was honoring beloved alumnae Link members Hazel Livingston and Dr. Floraline Stevens, who both have contributed immensely to the chapter and Greater Pasadena through philanthropic giving. Earlie Douglas served as event chair, Tarsha Proctor Standridge was emcee; Cheryl Myers is chapter president.
The annual chapter fundraiser raised $31,000 for the 29th annual Isaac McClelland Memorial Scholarship, which benefits graduating PUSD seniors and chapter programs. The chapter has awarded over $600,000 in college scholarships to PUSD students. For more than 50 years, the chapter has served the Pasadena-Altadena community with programs focused on cultural, educational and civic affairs. To learn more, visit pasadenaltadenalinksinc.org.
