The Altadena Guild of Huntington Memorial Hospital recently announced the return of its annual Home & Garden Tour, “Festival de Mendocino Lane,” on Sunday, May 1.
A kick-off reception was held recently at the home of Altadena Guild President Karen Skinner-Twomey, for participating homeowners on Mendocino Lane in Altadena and Guild committee chairs planning this highly anticipated community event.
Proceeds from the event, which is presented by the luxury senior living community of MonteCedro, will benefit Huntington Hospital and Huntington Medical Research Institutes.
The Guild has been in existence for 70 years, and the group has held a home tour every year except for the last two pandemic years.
“We’re happy to be bringing back our annual Home & Garden Tour this year on May 1, 2022, and are hoping to raise significant support for the hospital and HMRI — especially after everything the hospital has done for our community during this pandemic,” said Patricia Ostiller, Altadena Guild member and Home Tour co-chair.
