The Westridge School class of 2019 recently celebrated commencement ceremonies. Family and friends gathered for the occasion, which was hosted on the school’s Frank Field. The event’s keynote address was presented by Yara Shahidi, actress from TV shows “Black-ish” and “Grown-ish.” She is a committed advocate for the empowerment of young people, diversity in media and girls’ education. The 75 members of the class will attend 60 colleges and universities in 19 states, China, Ireland and Scotland in the fall.
