Located in Sierra Madre, the Gooden School celebrated its first day of school on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The Gooden School began the 2019-20 school year with lots of smiles, friendly greetings, new classmates and the opportunity to catch up with old friends. The lower school students had big smiles as they entered their classrooms, the 4th-graders were thrilled with having lockers for the first time, and the 5th-8th-graders showed that they were ready for school to be back in session. The Gooden Family Association was there to welcome new and returning parents with coffee and conversation after the first bell rang.
