Westridge School continued its tradition of designating every new student, staff member and faculty member as either a Greek or a Roman in its annual initiation ceremony. Returning students entered the gymnasium wearing their colors of blue or yellow and cheered as the names of the new Greeks and Romans were read. Contests take place between the two groups throughout the school year, beginning with wheeled sled races that immediately followed the presentation of the new Greeks and Romans.
