Flintridge Prep students picked up their books on the day before the start of classes and enjoyed a welcoming barbecue and carnival. The carnival included target games, shaved ice, a dunk tank and a field of inflated human bubble balls. A popular room in the school that day was the puppy room, where students had the opportunity to sit in a pen full of adorable young dogs.
