The Women’s Committee of the Pasadena Symphony recently held its annual Prelude luncheon bringing together master floral designers, musicians, board members and staff to meet and greet owners of homes featured on the group’s Home Tour. Drusie Taylor is the group’s president and Marsha Willhite is this year’s Holiday Look In chair.
The Holiday Look In Home Tour, now in its 51st year, is a major fundraising event for the Pasadena Symphony and Pops and Youth Orchestra. Each of the four homes — although they share the same architect, Roland Coate — differ in style, from Colonial revival to French provincial. Each will be decked out in innovative floral decorations, and visitors will be serenaded by professional musicians in each home. Florists for this year are Drew Domenghini of Patterson’s Topiaries, Pots and Teas; Margit Holakoui; Lisa Cardelli of Ixoral Floral Studio; and Hank Maarse of Jacob Maarse Floral Design.
