Interfaith Youth Concert Honors Daniel Pearl

An interfaith youth concert was recently held at Weizmann Day School. For the past 16 years, students from New Horizon School, Saint Mark’s School and Weizmann Day School have gathered for a unique and inspiring interfaith youth concert to share their music and friendship among the Abrahamic faiths — Judaism, Christianity and Islam. World Music Days take place each October throughout the world as performing artists celebrate the legacy of journalist and talented musician Daniel Pearl by inspiring hope and empowering audiences on every continent to work toward a hate-free world by uniting people through words and music, and promoting tolerance and understanding worldwide. After the performances, the students and faculty from each school enjoyed a friendship lunch together.
