PFAR Holds Inaugural, Awards Ceremony at Noor

The Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors hosted its 115th annual Inaugural and Awards Ceremony at the Noor.
The celebration, themed “Growing Together,” honored the local realtor community while installing the 2022 officers and directors.
During the virtual ceremony, PFAR honored incoming 2022 President Sarah Moore, a second-generation realtor and Pasadena native.
Hosted by 2018 Realtor of the Year and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Matt McIntyre along with PFAR Past President Emilie Broughton (Dilbeck Real Estate), PFAR opened the event with a donation to Door of Hope, a nonprofit which empowers families facing homelessness through holistic programs.
The 2022 officers and directors installed alongside President Sarah Moore (Dilbeck Real Estate) consisted of Kay Tolentino (TradeMark Real Estate) as president-elect; Secretary Lynnette West-Cater (Westlyn Realtors), Treasurer, Jon Butler (Douglas Elliman), Multiple Listing Director, Eddie Ramirez (DPP), along with newly added directors Sid Karsh (Sid Karsh Real Estate), Lee Cuellar (Keller Williams Realty), Adam Bray-Ali (Coldwell Banker) and Lauren Kinkade-Wong (Douglas Elliman). In addition, affiliate director Nathan Stark (Chicago Title) and now immediate Past President Barry Storch (Town Square Real Estate).
Retired board members honored were Hazel Perera (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices), Joyce Kristensson (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices), Martin Mesa (Rate One Financial), Megan Spargo-Ferrell (Compass) and Neha Jespersen (DPP).
Awards presented for outstanding service included: Realtor of the Year Hilda L. Hernandez (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties), Affiliate of the Year Zabrina Vance-Carroll (myNHD), Distinguished Service Award recipient Norman Haley (Norm Haley Real Estate).
For careers spanning more than 20 years, Diana Rafeedie-Nofal of Doma Title & Escrow received PFAR’s Lifetime Affiliate Achievement and Local Government Relations Chair Aida Dimejian of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Golden Properties was recognized as the Lifetime Realtor Achievement Award. PFAR’s Government Affairs Director Rian Barrett was named the President Award’s recipient.
On the state and national level, two realtors were also honored as C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life, an award given for at least 25 continuous years of membership at C.A.R.: Valery Darzibashians (Town and Ranch Realty), and newly installed PFAR Director Sid Karsh (Sid Karsh Real Estate).
PFAR also honored members who passed away in 2021: Ann Pendo (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties), Berton Mills Tibett III (the Tibbet Group), Betty Carlin Scannell (Coldwell Banker and Allstate LG), Georgene Neely (Coldwell Banker), PFAR Past President Margaret Sedenquist (Margaret H. Sedenquist and Co.), and Richard R. Jerez (Jerez Real Estate). Finally, PFAR celebrated the life of longtime member Ray Wells (Teles Properties).
