The Pasadena Pops hosted “Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles” at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Aug. 28. The summer evening brought about 5,000 fully-vaccinated individuals to the verdant grounds of the Arboretum; the concert was conducted by Larry Blank, a resident Pops conductor. The tribute to the Fab Four included hits from their early years and solo careers, featuring songs like “Yesterday,” “Penny Lane” and “Imagine,” which united the crowd in a phone-lit display of unity and enjoyment.
The Pasadena Pops is led by CEO Lora Unger.
