La Salle College Preparatory Selects New Athletic Director

La Salle College Preparatory this week announced the selection of Brandon P. Lincoln as the school’s new athletic director, effective Aug. 1. He currently serves as athletic director and head boys’ basketball coach for Providence High School in Burbank.
Lincoln earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in political science and Master of Science degree in educational leadership from the University of Oregon.
His appointment as La Salle’s athletic director comes after a thorough search, which included input and perspectives from staff, faculty and coaches. Prior to his work at Providence High School, Lincoln served as an assistant coach for Montana State’s men’s basketball team from 2014-17. He also served on the athletic staff at the University of Oregon and Miami University (Ohio).
In addition to his professional staff career, Lincoln was a basketball standout at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, playing for the University of Oregon and continuing his career with the ETB Wohnbau Baskets in Essen, Germany.
“In selecting Brandon to be our next athletic director, we’ll be adding a member to our leadership team with an extensive background in athletics, which includes his experience as a player, coach and administrator,” said Jamal Adams, La Salle College Preparatory’s principal. “He will be a great addition to our school and administrative team because of his professionalism, poise and innovative spirit.”
Serving as athletic director, Lincoln will be responsible for overseeing more than 100 coaches, 24 athletic teams and programs, and over 350 student-athletes that excel both in and out of the classroom. Most recently, La Salle’s girls’ tennis team captured the 2021 CIF-SS Division 5 championship, the girls’ water polo team won the 2020 CIF-SS Division 7 title and the school’s girls’ soccer team took won the 2019 CIF-SS Division 4 crown.
“I am honored and excited to join the community at La Salle College Preparatory,” Lincoln said. “I’m looking forward to growing La Salle’s athletic program while also remaining rooted in the school’s mission and founding values and principles.”
