The Women’s Committee of the Pasadena Symphony presented a check in the amount of $150,000 to Laura Unger, CEO of the Pasadena Symphony/Pasadena Pops Association, Saturday night at the Ambassador Auditorium. The donation represents the proceeds of the 50th annual Holiday Look In Home Tour and Boutique held last December and was the largest amount ever generated by this annual fundraising event. The group has contributed more than $3 million to the Pasadena Symphony Association.
Representing the Women’s Committee was President Lynn Van Dam Cooper and Holiday Look In Committee chair Brenda Baity. In accepting the check on behalf of the musicians and staff of the Pasadena Symphony, Unger expressed deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the volunteers of the Women’s Committee on this event.
The Holiday Look In Home Tour and Boutique, a Pasadena tradition, is held annually during the first weekend of December. Self-guided tours of some of Pasadena’s loveliest homes and gardens, decorated for the holidays by prestigious local florists, and a boutique of unique seasonal and year-round items are included. Information on the 2018 Holiday Look In will be available in October.
