The excitement on the Flintridge Prep campus was palpable as students returned for Book Day and the annual Student Senate BBQ. Book Day is held the day before school starts, allowing students to reconnect, get their bearings and gather the glossy new volumes that will guide them through their classes all year.
New 7th- and 9th-grade students were ushered around campus by their senior peer counselors, which gave them the opportunity to meet their teachers and bond with new classmates. Veteran students caught up with friends and teachers, updating each other on summer adventures, classes and internships, before heading to the barbecue hosted by Prep’s Student Senate.
