The half day before spring break at the Gooden School brings not only the anticipation of time away from campus, but also the excitement of the recent annual school talent show. This year, performed in front of a standing- room audience of students and families, mthe cheer squad opened the program, which featured 38 entertaining acts. Some talents displayed on stage included singing, playing instruments, dancing, magic, gymnastics, poetry and comedy, as well as a pair of students who solved six Rubik’s Cubes in a little more than three minutes. To conclude the show, the 8th-graders put on their annual skit at the good-natured expense of the faculty.
