Hillsides Butterfly-Themed Gala Aids Mental Health

Hillsides, a nonprofit that focuses on children and young adults mental health services and foster care and adoption, hosted their annual fundraising gala on Feb. 25, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles.
There were about 250 people in attendance for the butterfly-themed event “An Evening at Monarch Grove” which was chaired by Sara Jennings. The annual gala is an opportunity for community members, allies and advocates to come together and learn about how Hillsides heals children and strengthens families, while raising funds that are vital to provide the best quality of care.
This year’s theme was inspired by the clusters of butterflies that flock to the sanctuaries along California’s Central Coast each year. They migrate there to connect to community, spread their wings and flutter in their own way.
