Organized by Parent Association volunteers and supported by librarian Tatiana Guyer, Mayfield Junior School’s 14th annual Recycle and Read event was a rousing success.
Parent volunteers annually sort and organize gently used books donated by the school community for the two-day, on-campus event. Recycle & Read inspires voracious readers to find and enjoy books. It is part of Mayfield’s yearlong “Greatest Books on Earth” theme that celebrates the magic of reading books.
Founded in 1931 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus and located adjacent to historic Old Pasadena, Mayfield Junior School is a leading Catholic Independent coeducational school serving K-8th grade students and its educational program best prepares students for high school and beyond.
