On a warm evening in the beautiful campus garden, the Gooden School recently hosted a large reception for top donors, trustees, faculty and alumni.
Head of school Jo-Anne Woolner acknowledged those who sustained the school’s prominence.
“For the first time in nearly three years, we gather to celebrate the Gooden School community,” Woolner said. “Despite COVID, they continued their generous commitment to our school, students and future.”
Trustees chair Catherine Heflin shared that her daughter, displaced in Florida by Hurricane Ian, was welcomed in by another Gooden alum last week.
“This school breeds long-term friendships that are part of our culture,” Heflin said. “We continue to promote this essential character as one of our most important traits.”
