Westridge School held a recognition ceremony for its 6th-graders on Thursday, June 2.
The school for girls has students from 4th through 12th grades.
Head of School Elizabeth McGregor gave the welcoming address during the ceremony, followed by opening remarks by Zanita Kelly, director of the lower and middle schools.
Also, Taylor Tsang, 6th-grade class president, spoke.
The Bruno Mars song “Count on Me” was performed. Macy Zhu and Via Kau played violins, Kemi Zhang and Katherine Duan played violas and Victoria Wu and Karalim Cruikshank played cellos. Renee Gilormini was the accompanist and Shinnshill Park was the conductor.
Afterward, McGregor and Kelly awarded certificates.
