Walden School recently welcomed guests to its 2022 Parent Spring Fundraiser, “The Power of WE,” at the University Club in Pasadena.
After hosting virtual fundraisers for the last two years, Walden pivoted to a hybrid in-person and livestream event, which included a live and online auction to support their general fund, and an opportunity for families to contribute to the renovation of the school library.
There were approximately 180 guests at the in-person dinner during which Daphne Trager was honored for her 22 years of service to the school as a dance teacher.
The theme for the evening celebrated the three E’s of Walden: Education, Excellence and Equity.
“Tonight, we are celebrating the resilience of our families,” said Communications Director Birthe Landerer. “We are happy to see everyone’s enthusiasm to be together after this time apart. We are grateful for the collaboration and creativity of our school families which has helped us maintain a close community at Walden School.”
