The Pittance Chamber Music season will return to live concerts this month with a previously postponed program due to the pandemic.
The concert, called “Liebeslieder!” which is German for love songs, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at First United Methodist Church Pasadena.
It will feature artist residents from the L.A. Opera singing love songs by Johannes Brahms. The artists will be mezzo-soprano Melissa Treinkman, tenor Edmond Rodriguezm baritone James Martin Schaefer and soprano Elissa Johnston, along with L.A. Opera conductors Grant Gershon and Jeremy Frank.
Tickets are $40. Senior tickets are $25 and student tickets (with ID) are $10.
First United Methodist Church Pasadena is located at 500 East Colorado Blvd., Pasadena.
