Elizabeth House Raises $200,000 at ‘Hybrid Gala’

First published in the Oct. 7 print issue of the Pasadena Outlook.

Elizabeth House’s Hybrid Gala on Sept. 25 was a big success, taking place in the backyard of the EH Center and broadcast live to many watch parties across the country. The gala was hosted by John Cervenka and Elizabeth House alumna Tendai Escobar, and concluded with a live auction by actor and comedian Ron Pearson.
“This year’s dynamic gala proved that anything can be done with hope and a great community,” a spokeswoman said. “Thanks to the generosity and dedication of supporters, $200,000 net was raised to support EH’s women and children. Elizabeth House empowers pregnant and parenting women in need to reclaim their lives and build successful family legacies. What a great way to start the holiday season — empowering families in need and giving back to our wonderful community.”
