Local officials and citizens recently gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of a new park to be constructed at the corner of Union Street and El Molino Avenue, which is part of the area known as the Playhouse Village. The long-awaited, $11 million project is being built in hopes to meet the various needs of the community with its multipurpose design. Construction officially began this past week, with a projected ribbon-cutting targeted for the summer of 2022.
