Mayfield Junior School recently hosted its annual book fair and family night, this year called “Peace, Love & Books.”
Starting off the six-day celebration were visits from alumni authors Karina Yan Glaser, the creator of the “Vanderbeeker” book series, and Mac Barnett, the pen behind nearly 40 books, including “Kid Spy,” “Extra Yarn” and the “Terrible Two” series.
Glaser and Barnett shared with MJS students their journeys to becoming authors and tips to produce their best writing.
